CMOS Cameras, CMOS Image Sensors and CMOS Vision Systems

Photonfocus AG produces CMOS image sensors, CMOS camera modules and CMOS cameras for CMOS vision systems. The CMOS image sensors from Photonfocus are based on an own CMOS image sensor technology - the LinLog® technology. The LinLog® technology enables the capture of high dynamic images. High parallel read out structures of the CMOS image sensors are the basis for high speed CMOS vision components and systems. Beside standard products Photonfocus AG develops custom specific CMOS image sensors, CMOS camera modules and CMOS cameras.

The Photonfocus CMOS cameras are equiped with CameraLink®, USB2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet GigE interfaces. The performance of the CMOS cameras can be increased with image pre-processing inside the camera with the Pixel Professor® or DSP technology. For the integration of the CMOS cameras and the CMOS camera modules in complex CMOS vision systems Photonfocus delivers software solution for the operating systems Windows, Linux, QNX and embedded solutions. Additional Photonfocus sells accessories as CameraLink® repeater (Digipeater), CameraLink® cables and lenses.
